About Us

EdukaKids Preschool is a newly opened, privately-owned preschool providing an English-speaking environment and programs for preschool care and education. We are the preschool section to Modafen Primary which was established in 2005. We are located in the safe, calm and beautiful forest area of Çekmeköy, where children can play freely and observe nature closely. Our campus is easily accessible from Şile Motorway and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

Our learning environment has been designed with deliberate consideration to making it a child-centered setting. It consists of bright spacious rooms filled with child friendly materials and excellent educational resources, which provide a combination of both quality and creativity to support our curriculum. All of our members of staff are qualified and experienced and thrilled to be active members of our team.

Our Philosophy

We believe that preschool is a great way for young children to work on their social skills, preparing them for further education. To stimulate their thirst for knowledge and help them become aware of their place in the world. Each child is guided to grow and develop at his or her own pace, and we encourage exploring while keeping their interest.

We help our children to learn to socialize with other children and adults with confidence, to take turns, get along with each other, and are kind to one another, we feel these are crucial life skills that are important to children’s growth.

We provide a stimulating environment with activities that young children can thrive and enhance their self-esteem. We aspire to make your child feel safe and secure. Our environment is warm and nurturing; the curriculum provides a wide variety of activities to help your child flourish.

Our project-based approach considers children to be individual learners and teachers to be guides. Children work together with their teachers to negotiate, plan and work through projects. Their lessons are enhanced with real-world connections, field trips and projects. This approach encourages skill application and positive learning habits by attempting to make learning as pleasant and self-motivated as possible.
