Our Children’s Exhibitions were Displayed at the Sadberk Hanim Museum of Antiquities
Edukakids Reception Plus classes proudly presented their project “Ancient Archaeological Works.” What is this project and why are our children so excited about it?
Our children, who are growing up in the middle of the technology era, created their projects based on ancient traditions learnt during their courses. They learned about the era’s culture, structure, and way of life. To discover the traces of that era, the children have taken the path to Sadberk Hanım Museum in Sariyer.
Antiquity plates, bowls, gas lamps, jewelry, sculptures, and even toys, were on display at the museum. The students chose a book that they liked, and then they started to make the replicas of these books in their art classes. Whilst making replicas, they considered all kinds of details like colour, shape and type. The most exciting part of making the replicas was that Sadberk Hanım Museum exhibited them side by side with the originals. Our students have found a partner to give them the rare chance to showcase their work like those of real artists. Our little artists, proudly exhibited their works to museum visitors in addition to parents and teachers, who also shared their excitement.
