We celebrated “Republic Day” with Great Joy

EdukaKids, celebrated “Republic Day” with great joy.

The Republic Day, is celebrated annually with great excitement and enthusiasm. Turkish flags are hung around our school, and both students and teachers have created an honourable tradition by wearing our flag’s colours from head to toe.

The Ceremony, performed in our Conference Hall, began with the National Anthem and a moment of silence. Then, our Turkish teacher, Ms Çiçek, made a speech about the importance of independence and the Republic. After a visual display of the Republican process, all the EdukaKids students performed the “10. Yıl Marşı” together with their music teacher Mr Devrim.

At the end of the ceremony, all the students performed the “Republic” poet, taught by their music teacher Mr Devrim. The children returned to their classes with their Turkish flags to continue their enjoyable and exciting day.
